This is a song I wrote last night about someone who has come into my life and made all the bad things that have happened to me both make sense and feel necessary to get me to the very good life I have today. If you like what you hear, like my page and follow me at facebook.com/3amsaints.

After a week of running around and witnessing different protests and overall what's happening in our nation, I've had a couple days to slow down and, instead of watching other people's reactions, deal with my own. And I've come to find that, because of the many layers of involvement I have in the community, there is a necessity for me to always be calm. However, I'm really always kind of burning up inside.
While stuck in quarantine, I had the idea of creating “Quarantine Special” versions of some of my songs, incorporating and playing with the ideas of closeness, distance, dystopian and at times minimal elements.
The first song I’ve done this with is “Sunshine”. Consider the last 50 seconds of the song me trying to express how much I love you all, and how much I miss you all.
Words have always failed me there, so instead I can only offer the sound in my head when I’m with you.
I woke up already writing this song in my head this morning. I call it "Sunshine". If you like what you hear, like my page and follow me at facebook.com/3amsaints

Since I probably won't be recording for a while, but still creating during this outbreak, here's a rough version of what "A Quiet Life" sounds like in my mind.
If you like it, don't forget to like my page and follow me at facebook.com/3amsaints.

I've been writing a lot during quarantine. Here's a song I wrote yesterday, called "Remington". Rather than me explaining what I wrote it about, take it as you will.

I woke up this morning with an old letter I had read on Letters of Note years ago on my mind. And to say that the letter is heartbreaking is selling it short, and I encourage everyone to check it out at https://lettersofnote.com/2011/08/17/sweetheart-come/.

I was testing out a new camera and decided to play this song I wrote the other day, called "The Plan". Check it out and let me know what you think. If you like what you hear, like my page and follow me at facebook.com/3amsaints.
I wrote this song this morning as part of an ongoing effort to write a new EP, tentatively titled "The Ballad of Joe Monroe".
We're heading into the time of the year that depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder start to hit hard. I wanted to share this video showing my personal struggle/thoughts on it.
Here's a video -- taken by my friend Cole Stout -- of part of my set at Rustic Road Brewing Co. in downtown Kenosha on Sept. 7, 2019.
It was a pleasure to be on Ralph Nudi’s radio show, Get Real with Ralph, on AM 1050 WLIP yesterday. Check out the full episode below. You can listen to me opening up about my past addiction around the 1:30:00 mark, followed shortly by my song “Marie”. Note: The audio feed is muted at the beginning, but kicks in.

For a long time, I let anxiety and depression keep me from doing the things I loved to do and trying new things. Two years ago that changed. If you’re in the place I was, I want it to change for you, too.
Music is such an important, transformative thing in our world. I feel strongly that our lives would be empty without it.
Hello everyone,
As many of you know I've been wading into photography for years now through my work as a journalist, and in recent years, I've been taking it a bit more seriously.
So with time on my hands due to COVID-19 canceling every major event, I've decided it's a good time to kick off a new side project: #THATKENOSHAJOURNALIST.
Check out my site at the link below, let me know what you think, and if you like anything you see, consider supporting a local independent photographer by purchasing something.
Take care out there.
